It is important that people pay attention to the license. I commented earlier that it would be better if the fonts were under OFL, but I respect the author’s desire to charge for their efforts. It seems to me that many will not be sure what the current license implies, and many will not even care.
I agree with what you have in mind. This small work has supported our lives so far. If users don’t care about licensing restrictions, it will be up to them especially when these are gone. I believe “every action will be rewarded”
